Under RCW 4.96.020, anyone seeking to file a claim for damages against Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA) must present a written claim to the agency. The claim must include the claimant’s contact information, a description of the incident, the date and location of occurrence, a description of the injury or damages, the amount claimed and must be signed under penalty of perjury.

State law requires a 60-day waiting period after the claim is presented before a lawsuit may be filed.
